Laura Gallant is a Boston-based book designer and freelance illustrator. After graduating from Rhode Island School of Design's illustration program, in 2013, Laura has worked at Page Street Publishing, Candlewick Press, and Cade Tompkins Projects. Her work is oriented towards children, but her whimsical work appeals to all ages.

At Page Street Publishing she designed numerous covers, sample chapters, interiors and jackets, for cooking, craft, activity, lifestyle and sports books. Some titles of note include the best selling No Bake Treats, and 100 Fun & Easy Learning Games for Kids, The Easy Vegan Cookbook, and How to Be a Redhead.
